Does your clarinet have a name?

Hey everyone, Heather here 馃槉
This week, I want to hear about someone very important in your musical life: your clarinet.
For many of us, it鈥檚 more than just an instrument. It鈥檚 a partner, a personality, sometimes even a puzzle.
So, does your clarinet have a name? How did it come into your life? What鈥檚 your relationship like?
Whether it鈥檚 brand new or has been with you forever, I鈥檇 love to hear its story. Share photos, fun facts, or anything that makes your clarinet yours.

The 1970s low C bass I found on FB marketplace is Thelma the Selmer. The grenadilla 1990s YCL-64 from a dealer is Woody, and the stunt double plastic YCL-26 from ebay, who is used playing outdoors and camping trips, is Buzz.

Generally no, I haven't named them. However, my new Buffet bass is known alternately as The Beast, Lady Tosca or Queen Mary (take one of these, blast out the low C and you'll see what I mean).

I name them beginning with their Key.
Beatrice, Alisoun, Berthe (Bass) and my Eefer: Euthanasia.

No specific names for mine, just the usual nicknames. Stick of Pain, Squeaky McGee, Strange Saxophone, etc.
