What would you like to see on tonebase Clarinet?

Are there any artists or topics that you feel would be perfect for tonebase – that we haven’t added yet? What’s missing? Was there anything you were expecting or hoping to see that we didn’t think of? Or topics you’d love to see covered in our two-week intensives?

Please share below! We’ll do regular check-ins of this sort every few months, we want you to feel you’re getting the most out of tonebase!

Hah, well I was starting on it when I last took lessons 25 years ago...

So a detailed explanation would be great.

You know I’d love to see Anthony McGill… and another amazing person would be Doreen Ketchens.

Much more of the core solo, chamber, and orchestral repertoire covered in much more detail. The kind of phrase by phrase teaching one might expect from a lesson, rather than just a broad overview and select few hints on particular spots. Thanks!

Hi Anders, do you mean in a different style from the repertoire we've got already? (We're definitely going to add a LOT more of these courses over the next year!)

No, I appreciate that you are focusing on core classical rep. Just would like to see as much more as soon as possible (of course!) and to have each piece or excerpt covered in much more detail. Thanks!

A session on the Tonal Energy app would be terrific!  I am embarassed to admit I  hadn't been able to figure out how to drone a pitch until it was mentioned during the session on intonation.  The TE user guide was confusing at with too much detail.    A short very basic introduction to the app would be helpful.

Oh that's a good idea - I'll think of the best way to present that, maybe we could even do it as a live stream?

It does just have SO much functionality, it can be a bit overwhelming!

Just the basics for the first session, maybe a livestream would be better than just a stand alone session. You can ask if another session on more advanced features would be of interest.  The overall content of tonebase is fantastic!

I'll have a think about the best way to do it, maybe one of my colleagues on the other platforms has already done something like this :) But I'm glad you're enjoying tonebase!!

Content aside
