Crash Course
I'm a completely new clarinet player and one course that seems to be missing is a "101" for people who haven't held a clarinet before. The deep dives are quite helpful in getting the nuances right and insightful, but it would be nice to have crash course.
So topics along the lines of:
- How to assemble a clarinet (e.g. how much force to use, cork grease etc)
- How to disassemble a clarinet
- How to clean and take care of the clarinet
- Good starting placement of the reed and reed strength
- How to hold (just the basics)
- Getting your first sounds (just the basics, e.g. what makes the sound go an octave higher, playing a simple scale)
- Common beginner mistakes
I know parts of these are covered in depth in some of the courses and the answers to them can be found easily on Youtube, it still would be nice to have a "first day with the clarinet" lesson in tonebase.
